HACA Navigator Clinic

Details:

The clinic begins at 10 am with presentations by Jerry McLennan and Keith Yutzy, both experienced, international navigators.  They will explain what a navigator does and how they do it.  There will be handouts on how to record the information on the obstacle course and how to make sure the driver stays safe, on course and within time limits.  Also information about penalties and what to do in case of problems, holds and other concerns.

 

There will be a lunch break at noon to 1ish.  Lunch will be Cowboy Stew with corn bread. We are looking for a couple of attendees to fix their version of cowboy stew and bring it along to the group stew pot. 

 

After lunch there will be a driver/horse/gator demonstration of what to do, what not to do and plenty of time for Q&A, 

 

We will have a drawing for some horsey items, as well as a coupon for 10% off the Pine Hill entry fee. This is a fun clinic with tons of valuable information and forms.
